We got lucky while we were at Tractor Supply and in the clearance area we found several bags of guinea pig pellets, now it's not the good brand for them but it'll do mixed into the better food to keep them occupied until I get them adopted. My plan is to share some of the food with the adopter to get them started. So we have two brothers that can stay together to be adopted and we also have a single boy, and a single long haired girl. Someone suggested the girl looked like a toupee (pic) lol.

How cute!
Recently I discovered she had piggy poop stuck in her hair in the back because her hair was so long and it was quite the fiasco to wash her little bum with warm water and using scissors to trim her hair back there. She is incredibly cute.

We really need help to find homes for these guinea pigs. The longer they stay here the longer I have to beg people for help to feed them and provide them with clean bedding. I make weekly trips to Costco to get romaine lettuce and spring mix which are Staples in their diet plus things that I rotate through their diet. They don't eat much and yet they are still called piggies lol

We received hay! I need to add pelleted food next as they eat that also but the Oxbox pelleted food in the large bulk priced sized is out of stock so we may have to use a couple of the less economical smaller sizes in the meantime?

I'm hoping that someone is open to have guinea pigs as pets because they're really great pets to have as they're very interactive and welcome you when you come home with squeaks and they have an entire vocabulary that just sounds so cute. We have everything you need to get started including a starter enclosure.

I had piggies years ago and I can confirm how sweet they are. Their little squeaks always reminded me of raindrops. They are very interactive and calm. Sweet little creatures. If I didn't have Jamie, I'd take them all. They do have a short lifespan (5 - 7 years) like bunnies. Surely someone can give them a safe, warm home. Good luck Ark.

They really are adoring little creatures. Easy to care for. You don't have to walk them outside in the cold or the heat ..... Anyone? ❤️

How are these piggies not gone to homes yet?

Arkie, did you post them in the classifieds?

It's free, so you might as well. Also other animals that need adopting, put them in there too.

We have a number of items on our Amazon wish list that we are in great need of at the moment. Guinea pig supplies: hay, guinea pig pellets, and bedding. We also need the special canned food for Cookie (dog) who is still trying to gain weight. Anything for the cats is appreciated. We have several seniors that have dental issues that are eating canned food exclusively and they seem to prefer the pate which doesn't have any chunks in it. If you could help out that would be awesome, thank you so much.
* Crate stays tied open 24/7 and Tweety the kitty likes to cuddle with Flora. It almost looks like Flora is rolling her eyes like oh my, not another picture?

We received more piggy hay, and pellets, but we are currently in need of piggy bedding. We tried to use some of the inexpensive horse bedding pellets but there was a lot of sneezing and face swiping going on. So we are going to stick to piggy bedding. Today is enclosure cleaning day and we will be using the last of the bedding that we have on hand.
