Any suggestions on who does a good job at a reasonable price? We are in the Leonardtown area.

Thanks.

From the thread header, I thought you were talking about congress, but you meant a real septic system...my bad!

They came out and saved us on Christmas Eve one year from a possible disaster. We had 20 people on the way to our house for family open house and there it was...glub glub *rising water* after a flush.

Called and they were there in a flash. :) All fixed.

If you know where the tank is and can find the cap for the septic tank you can save $50 or so bucks. If they have to find it and dig it up it will cost you.

Wayne's Drains. In 35 years of having rental and personal tanks pumped, Wayne's Drains has done the most thorough job and the best price. He recently dug, pumped and back washed two tanks, 1000 gal. and a 1500 gal., for $210 each. He also installed extension collars on both tanks at a very reasonable price. The 1000 gal tank had only been pumped through the 8" access pipe previously and the last pumping was only 1½ years ago. Everything looked good down the 8" pipe but Wayne assured me it would not look good when they remove the 2x2 access cover. He was correct and the grease and crud floating on top was very close to covering the exit to the drain field.

Wayne did the same for us. Our situation was identical to yours. He and his son came out and even took care in replacing the grass where he had to dig. I will call them every time.

we have used C&C Septic a couple of times, they seem reasonably priced. however they can be difficult to get a hold of.
