I have a jack russell terrier, who is considered a "shorty". The breeder said she should mature to 9-11 lbs. Right now she is 16 weeks old and weighs 4 pounds. Does anyone know when JRT have their big growth spurt?

I dont when they have their growth spurt my shorty was 20lbs and a clown.
Really?! That's huge! Do you remember how big he was when he was my girls age? Also, How many inches tall is he? My boyfriend is so scared she is going to be really tiny

Mine is about 14 inchs tall and 24 around and also weighs 24 pounds. My vet always reminds of this but she loves to eat. She ate a blue crayon this weekend thanks to my grandson.
A damn cat is better than a Jack Russell.
My "Neice" is about 15" tall and weighs about 15 pounds. She's around 11 years old and still going strong!!! She does so many cute tricks; jump through the hoop, crawl, high five, roll over, sit, stay, dance, etc. I think she's smarter than me sometimes!!! Here she is in her pretty Christmas dress from two years ago...
Mine is eight and she was fine with the weight until I had her spayed and the pounds started packing on.
Thank you hopefully she'll start growing soon! Here are some pics!
Do you have children?
Nope just dogs and horses
Good thing, because JR's are worse than Pit Bulls.
Hey Pixie, whadda ya think. Am I right?
I think it depends on the handling and owners of the JR. Mine is very sweet even though she does get rowdy she knows when to stop especially if you tell her its enough
Has it been around children?
I have 2 Jack Russells
