Jackson jurors bank on flip-flop

2 now say he's guilty, plan books
Two jurors who acquitted Michael Jackson of child molestation charges now say they think the pop star was guilty - and they are penning tell-all books about the jury's deliberations, the Daily News has learned.
Is there a way that these asshats can be prosecuted for this...preferably with the death penalty as punishment? :burning:

In defense of the jurors - if the prosecution does not make its case, it doesn't matter if your gut says, he's guilty. An honest juror has to base his decision on the arguments presented based on the evidence. Admittedly, we don't always get honest jurors, but I can easily see someone casting a vote for not guilty even while believing he IS guilty, because the case made in court was terrible.

I like the common refrain Grissom makes in CSI when people ask him if he believes the witness (or the suspect). He always says "People lie; but the evidence doesn't". No matter how credible a person is, he just goes by the stuff he finds out.

If I were on the jury, my decision would be based on the evidence presented and the person behind the scheme. The mother of the "victim" was a known fraud and tainted every bit of evidence in the case. I would believe Michael Jackson is capable of and has done all kinds of perverted stuff but this case was all hearsay by unreliable people and no actual proof. If the "victim" did not so willingly participate in the goings on at Jackson's home and they did not have a reputation of fraud, the verdict may have been different.

I read recently that Jackson's ex, who gave up all custody of the kids and later went back and tried to get custody, spoke at the trial about what a wonderful father he is.

They now are just about done working on the new custody arrangement giving her more contact. I somehow doubt there is no connection between the new agreement and her testomony.

I'm still infuriated that there was no solid evidence to get MJ convicted and locked up for the rest of his life.

Yeah, but he probably feels more confident in his lifestyle now than before. "Hey, it's perfectly fine to fool around with kids and give them alcohol and porn... people will still love me!" And if he does feel that way he will do this again, thereby creating another prosecution opportunity.

His release is aggravating because I think he is a child molester... but in this particular case the prosecution was too nebulous and flawed.
