So today I went to Cirque Ma'Ceo - it's acrobats with horses involved. It sounded way better than what it was. Once you've seen Cirque du Soleil or even a Ringling Bros circus, these small things are a letdown.
This is why people my age - especially if they've been around a bit - don't think anything is fun. We've seen and experienced so many things that our wow-factor is set high. Go big or go home. My friend was like, "At this point we're just applauding out of politeness."
I mean, it was fine - if someone I knew said, "Hey watch this" and proceeded to do one of the stunts I'd be impressed. But none of it was worth paying to see.
