That's what my dad called it when I busted him out of Civista tonight. He was so happy to escape he wasn't even cranky.
He was even happy to see the Vet home.
Pneumonia is under control and he's back to normal.
Thanks to everyone that sent supportive messages.
Hopefully the basement project will go a little faster and he'll be able to move in soon. Then, knowing him, it's off to the horse races.

Good to hear your Dad is doing better. I know the couple of times that they have had me in a hospital I couldn't wait to escape to get home to some peace and quiet.

What I have never understood is why is it that when what you need the most is rest they continually wake you up to mess with you in some way or another? If they aren't poking and prodding you they are giving you a shot to help you sleep even though they had to wake you up to give it to you.

Dad said they took him down for some lab work at 2 AM. 2AM!!!!!!!! Reason: It wasn't crowded then.
How he's made it through so many visits without committing justified homicide is just beyond me.
