Jake was attacked!!

By a bird. Honest! Several times today when I was outside, some odd-ball effin' bird was attacking Jake. Now I just came back in the house after watching this damn bird swoop & dive, and I actually heard the bird hit Jake's back, while Jake was taking a P-P.
When Jake was done he went out back behind the grapes and this bird continued to attack him. He got pizzed and started barking at the bird and tried to catch it. I bet tomorrow, he does catch it.
My neighbor who saw all this happening, called it a "cat bird."
I wonder WTF was his problem?

Mocking Bird ??? It probably had a nest or a baby nearby. That happened to me a couple of times with a Blue Jay. Thought it was gonna peck a hole in my head and I was only trying to help its baby.

It might have been a mocking bird or a barn swallow. They just do that to do it, no reason, just felt like picking on your dog today. :shrug:

Bear was doing his usual in the woods when a baby bird came running toward me a few days ago. There was a whole lotta tweetin' going on by the momma (brown thrasher).

I know the bird is gray with white in it's tail feathers. It's a bold bird, to go after Jake. I saw Jake catch a rabbit once.

I hated Barn Swallows when we were growing up. We couldn't use one of the old barns due to those nasty little birds.
