...I don't wanna get in trouble or anything, but the thought just occurred to me that if someone were to go crazy with a knife it would be rather much a battle of size and power and proximity regardless of who else may or may not have had an assault blade on their person at the time whereas, with a gun, once the attack was started, if a few people were to have chose to carry a convenient handgun, that they wouldn't have to be quicker or stronger or closer or just wait their turn; They could, well...shoot the bad person before he hurt someone else. Maybe.

That's crazy. Let's forget I even mentioned it.

Much less the fact that with a knife and close proximity, the nutty can pretty much guarantee a kill with better targeting precision and rapid stabbing. A guy with a gun probably wouldn't get seven kills on one clip, especially in the hands of a raving psycho who is charging about - he would have to stop, reload, and try again; would probably have a greater ratio of wounded to dead.

...was thinking the same thing and I'm glad you posted it because my anarachy allowance is used up for today.

Also, please note the other stabbing incidents happening in Japan at the end of the story. Of course, our feudal history was the wild west with cattle barons and the like centered around the gun. Their feudal history was the way of the samurai. I guess we stick with our roots. :yay:
