Anyone seen it yet?
Was considering going tonight, but have heard some things that it may be anti-Marine and/or anti-American.

Go see it and form your own opinion. It is not either, IMO. I saw it in N.C. on Friday with 25 Marines. It's about a war that never really was and some Marine bonding.

So you must be a little sore down there now!

What war are you or them talking about that never was? And why are those 25 still here in the states. Attitude problems maybe?

Sorry, I mean in terms of length and loss of american lives. It was a very short war and the movie deals with an issue of a sniper never getting his shot.

Always make your own decisions. Just because there are alot of great movies out there that people or critics will say "suck" when they actually dont.

IMO, I didn't think the previews eluded to a MM type of film. Anyhow, you'll be spending your money well, cuz you'll get to see a buffed up Jake G. w/o his shirt!!!!!!! :pant:

Not one of my most favorite marine movies. Its just a guys perspective on his time in the Corps. I know alot of people who hated it because they felt it to be anti-Marine. I looked at them and asked them how many people they knew in the Corps that absolutely hated it.

The Corps is not for everyone. I had a good 8 years. No complaints here. Well there was that one office hours. Oh yeah I was young and stupid!!!! Chesty Puller said every good marine should go to office hours at least once.
