I saw a blurb on CNN this morning about ol' Jeb and a new law, which I have dubbed the "eye for an eye" law. Something about if someone pokes you, you can poke them. :shrug: I want to know more, but I can't find anything about it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Sounds like a pretty stupid law. I think alot of people are going to get killed and no one will have to pay. They said on the Headline news that if someone were to punch you in the face, you will have the right to kill them because you felt threatened. I thimk they need to go back to the drawing board on this and not make it so open and shut. It needs some tweaking.

I agree. Some people will definitely abuse the law. It just doesn't sound safe. If you ram my car, I can ram yours? How is that helping anybody?

If you ram my car, I get to shoot and kill you if were in Florida. Kinda give a whole new meaning to "Road Rage"

In fact, even the MSM stated that the law only removes the 'must retreat' portion of the shoot-in-self-defense law. Even RRaley agrees that opposition to this law is inane.
