I watched that episode yesterday. I think it's a fantastic idea! My Step Boy only ever had problems with Brussel Sprouts though, so I don't have to worry about this with him. I did pass it onto one of my friends with little ones today though who just started having to worry about this with her little ones.

The brownies and the Mac and cheese :yay: I slipped the cauliflower in the Kraft Mac and Cheese. They sucked it down!!! I put so much spinach in the brownies. They asked for seconds of both. Some of Jessica's recipes are listed on Oprah.com. I ran to Target and got a rice cooker, I already had the food processor. My girl was helping me package the left over spinach puree and wouldn't touch it without gloves :lmao: And now she is eating it!!!

I really want to try the chicken nuggets (and brownies). We eat a lot of chicken, so it would be nice to have another recipe on hand.

I ordered the cookbook yesterday. Now that I know the recipes are on Oprah.com I might try them ahead of time, thanks.

I'm thinking about trying it for my own self. I hate veggies, almost all veggies. I can eat most of them raw, but cook them up and I gag on them. It's my mom's fault.

Here's something to try

How many of your kids will eat yellow squash? you can also do this with eggplant.

Slice up about 6 yellow squash (small slices)
Boil (like you do potatoes)
when soft enough, drain
mash as you would mash potatoes add butter, salt and pepper.

My son wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole, this way he asks for seconds..

That's exactly how my aunt use to fix the yellow squash from her garden when I was a kid. It was the only times I ever ate squash. Maybe I should give it a try for my own kids, I haven't had it in years.
