When our in-laws KEPT having problems with falls - they were becoming at least a weekly occurrence - they were persuaded to move to assisted living, especially when they occurred while the other was away - and the one who fell might be there for a long time.
They are/were frail. We love them, we accept them - but - I certainly wouldn't put them in charge of the whole country.
