The Purpose of John’s Gospel

Now Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John have talked about the miracles that Jesus performed during His time on earth. We know that He healed the sick, drove out demons, brought people back from the dead, calmed storms, moved boats at rocket speed across the water, walked on water, read minds, and more, all that without breaking a covenant.
Since the crucifixion, He has shown up outside the tomb and twice He has simply appeared in a locked room where His disciples were hiding.
"Now" John says.. [paraphrased]... "Listen to what else happened.... I hope it'll make a real believer out of you."
John 20:30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
