I dug Rocky Balboa and am pumped to see Live Free or Die Hard on Wednesday, but I am not sure about John Rambo.

First, is this Rambo or Jason Voorhees? This trailer is so über-gory, it's hard to tell. Rambo's never been a softy, but dayum.

Second, Sly Stallone needs to lay off the human growth hormones found on him in Australia.

Third, the acting from the non-Stallones seems pitiful. I am already rooting for the whiny blond to bite the dust.

I'll see it out of nostalgia for the series, but I get the feeling the general consensus will be Sly should've left well enough alone.

OMG those scenes do not exactly evoke the warm fuzzies that I like to have before bedtime......lol. The head coming off and the throat ripped out were a nice touch....lol Stallone will not be getting the Oscar that is for sure... :lmao:

It annoys me when these surgically and chemically enhanced dinosaurs are paired with some nubile young thing. Stallone looks older than God in that trailer. He should consider a more graceful approach to his golden years.

The only aging actor star I still buy is Bruce Willis.

Harrison Ford, however...

Bruce looks his age, which is sexy. What's not hot is Stallone and guys like him who fight Mother Nature like some diva. Similar to Bruce's scary ex-wife.

Sly's appearance here is definitely... what's the word? Gross, I s'pose.

And Harrison Ford just seems too old to play Indy Jones now. I don't mean to be ageist and I am sure it will be a good movie with Steven Spielberg directing, but you just know the stunt doubles and CGI artists are going to be in double-time mode.

Oh come on, if Sean Connery can do it, I'm sure Harrison Ford can pull it off!
