Although I've not read it anywhere yet, I'd have to guess that this team will be a satellite of JGR. Especially with Denny as a co-owner.

Chase Elliott is the #1 driver at HMS and will be for some time to come, and at this point Bubba feels like he is entitled to be the #1 no matter where he goes. I'll bet Rick Hendrick saw that coming and didn't want any part of that drama.
