Judged Trail Rides?

don't know about judged rides, but there are a number of hunter paces in the area this fall. they are competitions for riding the optimum time over a set course that is kind of like a trail ride. there are different levels - walk/trot, walk/trot/canter, and w/t/c with jumps usually. there's one on sunday in calvert put on by the de la brooke foxhounds. they can be from 1/2 hour to 2 hours long or thereabouts, not sure how many miles the de la brooke one is - anyone know?

On November 9th at Jug Bay in Croom SMTR will be holding a Judged Trail Ride. We do not have a flyer yet but will post one in a couple of weeks.

we are in NEED of 10 judges for this ride. You do not have to be a professional or and advanced rider to be a judge. The judging criteria is in the handbook and its fun if you are not already riding that day.............COME BE A JUDGE!!!
