Judo in calvert county?

Does anybody commute from St Marys to the Budokan Judo Club in Dunkirk? How long does it typically take to get there with bridge traffic, and what's your impression of the club?

If you don't feel like driving that far you can check out Shido school of Self Defense in Lusby... They train at the Lusby community center... It is primarily a traditional jiu-jitsu and Judo school...

I did when I was living in MD, for over 10 years... The school is on the serious side, its not your average McDojo... The schools roots are in Kempo, Traditional Jiu Jitsu, and practical Judo... The school also focuses a lot on self-defense for the street... If you are looking for a strict Judo class than this probably isn't the way to go, but there is plenty of Judo thrown in...

If you want more information let me know... I can also put you in touch with my sensei if you want... He is very cool about just letting you come in and watch or even try a couple classes out for free if you are interested...
