The Richard R. Clark Senior Center in La Plata will hold its annual Flea Market Fund Raiser on Saturday, July 14 from 8 a.m. -12 p.m. Clear out your attic and garage, and donate to the Center. Then visit the flea market to fill it back up again with bargain priced treasures. All proceeds go to the Council to benefit the Center.
The Waldorf Senior Center will be hosting their Week-Long Yard Sale from July 30 to August 2 from 9 a.m. -2 p.m. All proceeds go to the Waldorf Senior Center Council. Bring in your items beginning Monday, July 23 through Thursday, July 26. Donations will not be accepted before or after the specified date.
The Waldorf Senior Center will be holding a Farmer's Market on Tuesday, July 17 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Plan to visit the center and shop for fresh fruits and vegetables right in the parking lot. Several local farmers are scheduled to be there, in addition to representatives from Senior Information & Assistance, Office on Aging programs, and food stamp eligibility screenings will be offered. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity just for seniors to help support local farmers.
