If it's from Nigeria, forward to Appys PM'er.

If it's about saving money on your grocery bill, it goes to NoMo.

If it's about lowering your Cholesterol, send it to any of the Mickey-D's Lunch Crew.

If it's about a increasing your breast or penis size post it on the board as a PSA.

Also bought Webroot Anti-spyware for cooties my computer caught at the recommendation of Best Buy in California. Those guys are awesome. Computer been cootie free since August. Disc was only $29. They say they use it when they get computers that are brought in for service because of issues that are net related. Easy install and does a scan once a week or more if you like it.

Don't be so cheap and go out and buy Norton's. I have a junk mail folder that I have to empty every other day. I'll look and see if I have my copy available. Other than that, do you know how to block senders? Put them all in your blocked senders list.

Get a hotmail account, they filter out all of the junk and put it into a junk mail folder..

Do not unsubscribe to junk mail.. when you do you are verifying that what they sent did end up in an active e-mail account, and then you will really get inundated.

Don't reply to spam. If you do, the spammer knows he has valid, current email address, and you are guaranteed to get more.

The only way to not get spam, is to not have an email address.

Never ever reply or try to unsubscribe from junk mail. If it is really bad, change email addresses. Never give your real email address out and only use aliases. Use several email addresses; one for friends, one for family, one for organizations, one for commercial stuff. Forward them all to your real account. When one starts getting spammed, create a new address, go to the sites that you use it for and change to the new address. No more spam to that address.

I have about 30 email aliases. Helps that I run my own email server.
