Dont want to bore you too much. But I had to test my new body with a cheap lens while waiting for the good ones to arrive.

These were shot with a very inexpensive lens. Canon 50mm f/1.8 II USM It will be for sale when I get home as one of my L glass babies has arrived according to my wife.

Hey Force, I would hold on to that 50 1.8. They are inexpensive, but great lenses. They are great in low light, for getting a nice background blur, and good sharp images! I keep my nikon 50mm in my bag at all times!
