Just a few Pics

Anyone else notice an abundance of tree frogs this year? I've been hearing them outside everyday. This guy was on my back door just now.

These iris have a long history. They originally came from my grandmother from her place in Saugerties, NY sometime in the 1940s. When she moved to Queens, NY she brought some with her. She left there and came to live with us on Eastern Long Island, and again, they followed. She passed, and many years later my mom and dad moved from Long Island to Virginia, 1998 I believe. She brought them with her and re-started a new garden. Late summer of 2017, my mom passed, but before she did, she asked me to take the iris. I couldn't take all of them, but I did take a bunch before the house was sold last year. They are doing terrific, loaded with flowers. I wasn't sure they'd make it thru the storm this weekend, so I took a picture while at least one was blooming. Thank you, Grandma.
