Customer brings in a desktop because it's making noise. Turn it on to hear it, sounds like a fan. Open the side cover. This "thing" blows out of the case and I jump back 3 feet. It's a dust bunny, but it was HUGE, and the same shape as a mouse. The computer was on, so the fan blew it out as I opened the case. I look inside the computer. I'm having trouble figuring out what the boards are in there, there is SO much accumulated dust. I deployed this computer 6 months ago to a site on the base. I looked at the customer and told him to get face masks if they stay in that building.....

I once fixed a neighbors comp (as best I could). They must smoke like chimnies.

When I blew it out with compressed air, I noticed the processor heat sink had what looked like dark ear wax in EVERY little blade.

....

I hit it with the air and it sort of rippled and solidified like hot wax when it cools.

I put the cover back on and gave it back sans viruses.

Hex is something. Binary though, it's all 10001110101. Aslong as you can remember the right pattern, your alright. Mess up a 0 or a 1, and your screwed.

Brings back memories.... like instead of multiplying by 2, it was BSL (bit shift left).

0010 = 2
BSL(0010) = 0100
0100 = 4
