Out on the road today, (no, I didnt see a deadhead sticker on a cadillac) but a vanity tag that read Psycomom..... CrazyMom, SoccerMom, something like that...
BUT, it had numerous decals on the back that had a specific theme....

I've always believed that if someone has more than 3 bumper stickers on their ride. they're weird....

ummmm, so, wasnt that redundant....

I do not want stickers of any kind on my ride. I have seen some really cute ones though.
I had a 85 Tans Am. I so wanted to have a tiny "bad to the bone" on it. Never did it. I still have her. Sad.

Anyone want her? She WAS bad to the bone....

No stickers. Magnets. Can’t believe anyone would ruin the paint on their car.

Used to work with a guy that added new stickers every time a new rust hole opened up in the bed of his truck, he had to do this to keep the beer cans from falling out.

I gots a few...

I got a huge ding in my tailgate with only a few hundred miles on it. Found a huge bandaid sticker at the autoparts store and slapped it over the ding. It stayed on until I traded it in 13 years later.

How did you manage to keep a tailgate that long? My tailgate got stolen the first month I had the truck.

I know a lot of people with trucks, but no one has had the tailgate stolen. My current truck is 11 y/o, not stolen.
It used to be a lot more prevalent in the 80s and 90s. I think they were much easier and quicker to remove back then. It happened to a couple of work trucks where I work in the early 90s.

These days with the lockable tailgates, I think it’s more trouble than it’s worth to the thieves.

Those old ones weighed a ton and the hinged restraints were bolted in, the new ones almost feel spring loaded their that light.

The one on my new truck has a gas shock to lower the tailgate slowly. Still has an old style cable support though.

BTW.. did you know this trick? Snag the cable over the pin and the rear-view camera will point directly at the ball hitch for easy hookup.

Back-up camera!? Who needs a back-up camera? Heck. I'm professional old school. Back up and stop and get out to check. Nope, Just an little to the right. Pull forward, turn of the wheel a bit, back up and stop and get out to check. Nope, Just an little to the left. Pull forward, turn of the wheel a bit, back up and stop and get out to check. Nope, Just an little to far forward. Pull forward, turn of the wheel a bit, back up, check's distance by placing foot on the driveway, and stop and get out to check. Dang it. I was sure I got it correct that time. Nope, Just an little to the left. Pull forward, turn of the wheel a bit, back up, and stop and get out to check. Dang it, almost there. Lower the hitch jack, grunt and pull, shift, and shake that hitch until it settles on the ball, lower the jack a bit more, jump back in truck and pull forward, bonk, it falls right in. Whew, that was easy. Mildred then yelling from the kitchen winda, "Jack, whacha do'in!" Going fish'in damnit!

Now, I am sure that there are other such professionals on these here forums that will back me up on this standard procedure.

My truck that I use the most for pulling trailers/farm implements does not have a backup camera. Most times I only have to get back in the truck twice to adjust, not that I’m bragging….

Same, but if the camera is there, I'm gonna use it.

Well, my husband just gets it right without having to get out and check, so there!

Of course I'm usually standing behind the truck guiding him, so he gets really, let's say... unhappy, if he does have to get out and back in to adjust.

The back up camera made backing in a 34 foot RV into a tight campground site a piece of cake. I don't know how they managed before those things were available.
