You know this is one issue that I really can’t conceive of how the government doesn’t do something. It really seems that allowing someone to occupy your property against your wishes is the ultimate betrayal of the government.

You know this is one issue that I really can’t conceive of how the government doesn’t do something. It really seems that allowing someone to occupy your property against your wishes is the ultimate betrayal of the government.

I don't believe it's not that they don't do anything. As Blackdog said, once to police show up and squatters wave a fake piece of paper in front of them, it becomes a civil matter. The civil courts are so backed up, it takes forever to get the case resolved. Laws are needed to immediately move these cases to the front of the line.
