Just the Cheese...

Has anyone ever tried the snack 'Just the Cheese'?

Claims to be a great crunchy snack made from 100% cheese. With a baked process not fried. Comes in a bag just like any other chip type snack. The thought of crispy cheese bites makes me crazy, everyone knows how great crisped cheese is. Casserole edges and so on.

So, has anyone taken the plunge and what did you think?

Yes - they are good but VERY salty. Like casserole or pizza edges, you just want a little bit of it and not a whole bunch.

They take the place of croutons in a salad quite nicely.

Thank you and the salad crouton idea sounds great. Now I have to try them even if only for that reason.

Just looked at Amazon, they have a 'lower' salt version too.

I keep a nice block of Colby in the refrigerator and shave bits from it. Not crunchy, but truly JUST the cheese, and I love it just that way. Great snack.

But I have been known to go crazy on Cheetos and so might try these some day.
