Just tried a few things

I am getting very frustrated. But I think I am learning a few things.

I set the camera at F 3.6 ISO 200 1/3.2 RAW

I think next time I will not use RAW.

Here are a few I've taken in RAW and tweaked a little with Adobe Lightroom.

I haven't had any issues with fuzziness. It's only giving you that issue in RAW mode? Have you tried googling for issues specific to your camera?

Nope, cause it's probably just me causing it. I just need to fiddle around with it some more. I am WAY new to all of this. My last camera was a cheap Kodak. This thing goes way above and beyond my knowledge in camera's. I often think that I have bit off way more than I can chew.

Mouse, RAW is more toward if you plan on post processing your photos. If you shot jpg. the camera tweaks things like the saturation, color, contrast and shaprness to what it thinks is best. In RAW you are expected to do all that later yourself, if need be.

I would try to get your shutter speed up a little more than that. If for nothing else just to see if that fixes the softness you may be getting. The last shot looks like it is pretty Sharp just off center to the left, on the cats leg.

You will get better! I promise! Just don't get frustrated and take criticism constractively. Don't let anything any of us say discourage you!

Go online and google stuff about how to take pictures of this and that....you will learn a lot by reading how a camera works and how to use it.

I can't tell you how many times I have gone on google and typed in stuff like "How to photograph fireworks".

Actually, the fuzziness looks more like a lens issue when shooting in a very short depth-of-field. There should be no real difference, other than what JBR said, in the quality/sharpness of the photo. Take a couple with RAW, then reshoot exactly the same thing, changing nothing except changing it to JPG mode.

The last shot looks like it is pretty Sharp just off center to the left, on the cats leg.

I think JBR has hit it.
There is only ONE spot in a picture that is in focus. It may be a big or tiny spot, and should be on the main object. Look at your pics and see if they would be improved by shifting the spot of focus.
Then go on to DOF.
