A little MD history. I went to see "the stone" in Leonardtown, but was disappointed.

Was that it? Was the stone not there anymore? I saw it a few years ago (2004, I think). Could just barely see finger imprints. Great story, though.

No, that was just a history plaque. I took pix of the stone, but you couldn't see much.

Hahaha... I went yesterday.

I told my wife it made me feel strange. Her reply: "How is that any different than usual!?" I couldn't argue with that logic.

If I had been a tourist visiting the old jailhouse... I can imagine walking out, turning the corner and saying: "Look a big rock!"

BOOOOOORING!

The rock isn't even marked. It is off to the right of the building and clearly looks like just a big rock for decoration.

They just didn't take very good care of it.
