I am writing on behalf of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club Southern Maryland Chapter who are an organization of firefighters, EMT and paramedics (career, volunteer and retired) who ride motorcycles and contribute to various charities. On September 24, 2006 we are having a scholarship ride for Justin Hutchinson a young man who was killed in a motor vehicle accident in 2001. This is the main event of the year for the Red Knights.

At this time we are seeking sponsors who would like to donate merchandise or gift certificates to give out as door prizes during this event. If you would like to be part of this event as a sponsor please e-mail the webmaster@rkmcmd4.com. We will arrange pickup of your donation and provide you with a form for tax purposes. Donations we are looking for would be gift cards, gift certificates ect. We are not looking for Monies at this time for this event. Your donation is tax deductible and we will also add you to our sponsor page.

If you would like to know more about us, visit our website

http://www.rkmcmd4.com/

You can also visit Justin's memorial website at

Thank you for your time and if you have any questions, please feel free to send me contact me.

Remember

Remember folks,

Firefighters, EMT and Paramedics are primarily giving up thier free time to serve thier communities and perhaps one day you. Please take the time to get a gift card from Safeway, Giant, Lowes or other for $20.00 for this important event. Remember it is tax deductable, plus you will be added to the sponsor page on the site.

thanks

Would like to thank the following

The following resturaunts have given to make the event a great one.

Red Hot and Blue "Waldorf" great people, great atmosphere.
Outback Steak House "St Marys" great food and atmosphere.

The following businesses have also provided support,

Renegades "Prince Frederick" Everything for the modern biker.
WMZQ "Country Radio Station"

We are still looking for support, the 24th is coming fast.

I could also provide those who chose not to support this function, however 1 business does stand out which I must make mention. This would be Port of Call, his demenor was "what do I get in return for supporting this event" you can provide your own assumptions to that statement.

wow

Talk about a small world, the owner/operator of Port Of Call Liquor store which I had the misfortune to meet, I just found out that he is a Calvert County Comissioner. Now this is an individual that does not support Fire/Rescue activities without getting a return. An elected offical not in support.... interesting....... :lalala:
