I find that hard to believe. I have been the center of a mass of crap and I have yet to see you or anyone else come to my defense, nor do I expect you to.
That's true - we all tend to let each other fight our own battles without stepping in.
However, when duking it out with one forum member, all of his or her buddies will come sailing in to back up the attack on the other party even if they don't have a clue what they are talking about.
Pete, I wasn't here for whatever battle supposedly happened recently. Personally I don't care to hear the story. However, knowing how dirty you fight from first hand experience, perhaps you need to re-think your personal involvement and accept your own culpability. I'm sorry your son was dragged into whatever drama has occurred, but you know, I've seen Pixie's kids brought up in fights, beerwench was severly attacked last year I think in regards to her kids and there was some seriously nasty stuff going on among some other forumites that I have long since forgotten, and there were more issues among other forumites childrens and families being dragged into the

8 times out of 10 everybody stayed out of the drama and let everybody duke it out on their own.
Pete, what Pixie's trying to stress, is every single forum member is guilty of bad behavior on one level or another. Yourself included. Myself included for not always sticking up for somebody who I knew was right. And we should all accept that past actions have been out of line and move forward with our forum lives. If you can't let go of your anger, maybe you need a forum break. It means you are taking crap way too personal and perhaps you need some distance for perspective. And that goes for everybody. Vrai is correct in saying if you don't like it here you don't have to stay. And that goes for ALL of us as well.
Now, IMHO, everybody needs to stop sniveling over karma and the past and throw dirt on that grave and march on down to the next tread.
