The Humane Society of Calvert County is having a Katrina dog day to introduce to the public and possibly find future forever homes for our rescued hurricane dogs.
With time going by and less and less hope of reuniting dog to owner it is now time to help these guys find a happy place to call home.
Several of the dogs were owner give ups or had no owner to begin with and are available now.
We are also hoping to have rescued cats from Last Chance Rescue and will have a few of our own cats around just because, well, cats really need homes.
There will be face painting for kids, refreshments and a craft show hosted by the Prince Frederick volunteer rescue squad.
Hope you can join us there.
