Several years in a row, I stood in line for the early bird specials the day after Thanksgiving at KB. Now, I'm way too lazy to stand all day at the store when I can shop online in 30 minutes or less for the kids at Christmas. Plus, the deals were not worth the effort.
Back then it was Kay Bee then they got bought out by Toy Works and they changed the name. I LOVED that job!

We have a KB here, too. I have never waited in line. They are always very friendly & helpful. I'll hate to see them close.
I have a Rose Nyland (The Golden Girls)story for ya.
The DQ wanted "Toy Story" toys, Woody & Buzz. I went there and sure enough, they had them, however they only had Woody in a soft doll. I told the guy that was helping me that "I really wanted a hard Woody" and the whole place burst into a roaring laughter. Then I realized what I said. Needless to say.....
I wanted to die.
