Sitting in my Trail Blazer looking at the odometer right now at 193890. Most of the miles Wifey put on it. She drove gently. Trying to make this one last me.

Some of the "Buy here, pay here" 18+% interest used car dealers have been using this via GPS for a few years now. They install it and can disable the car as soon as you are late on a payment. And since it is GPS they know where to send the recovery truck. Once (if ever) you pay off the loan they remove the device to install in another suckers customers car.

Just sneakin' around....
I'm about to hit 90k with mine, and I thought that was pretty good... Guess I've got a ways to go to be part of the 200 club.

My '89 F-250 has about 375,000 on it....guess I'm not one of the guys that the vehicle manufacturers appreciate much. ;-p
Likewise.

I never bought anything i didn't intend to drive until dead.

My 92 F150 had 246k when I gave it to a family member that needed transportation in 2004. It lasted her another 100k until the teenage son wrecked it.
