Ken Hobar vs. Mike Evans

WOW is all I can say.....
Anyone have any truth to this mans allegations on his facebook page? I cannot believe that our sheriff can't get this stuff taken off the site since its all defaming him..........

We at Sweet Dreams Candy Shoppe would like to make an announcement about our facebook page. There is a person out there who keeps putting horrible posts on our business page . He is spreading hate posts and photo shopped pictures that are practically pornographic of our county sheriff. He apparently has something against the sheriff and will go to great lengths to try to publicly humiliate him. This person goes by the name Ken Hobar or Kenneth Hobart. If you see any posts on this page of that nature, please know that it is not coming from us. We at Sweet Dreams would never post things like that, and we have always been careful to never post our political views. I don't know why this person chose our business page to do this, other than we are a business in Calvert County and he has gone through many friends lists. We do not know this person. Posting things of this nature on our page could be very harmful to our business. We would like to extend our deepest apologizes to all of our customers for this.

WoW. This guy sounds like a real loony tune. I hope he is stopped. I was just on his FB page and he clearly has an erection for Sheriff Mike Evans. It sounds as though he currently lives in FL. I don't know what makes people tick and cannot imagine what he would have against the lady that owns this shop!

The lady that owns that shop is sweet and sincere and I am proud of her for being able to keep her doors open; despite the tough economy and her location in St Leonard (not exactly a thriving metropolis for business).

Supposedly his mother. He has made a lot of comments on baynet articles that have been removed. They show up in the captions on the google searches

He was posting on Spider Hall Farm facebook page too. So it was also other local businesses. They ended up telling him to stop posting and he did. I thought it was pretty stupid and never did figure what this person's point was, other than stupidity.

He has nothing against the candy shop. I find it incredibly clear he has a problem and beef with the sheriff of Calvert Co. That candy store is the only one that got freaked out and posted on the Calvert FB as a way of letting her customers and beyond know she had nothing to do with him. A fan page I used to help run got bombed by him a few times. Hes made his way onto MANY local FB fan pages. FB filters made sure he was not public with his rants (only the page owner could see it) Not sure if the Candy lady realizes this or FB failed her with its filters.

Hes a lunatic - contacting him directly gets no answer. The only thing page owners can do is block those names- seemed to work on our page. Why the sheriff dept is choosing to ignore him is anyone's guess, but ignore is what we did and seems all anyone can do.

That nutjob reminds me of another one quite similar that used to haunt the southern MD forums and tilt at various eveil windmills....so there are more than one of them. Ugh.

Is this the guy who sent/delivered dead animal parts to a couple of the Calvert Commissioners? He also was charged, and convicted, of taking free newspapers, putting his own inserts in them and then putting the papers back.

Do we actually know the person to whom you refer is not currently carrying on this similar psychotic interweb campaign? I really suspect he's still got an MPD or 12 on this forum.
