The entire Democratic primary was basically a support fest for Saddam Hussien. They could see NO reason to support the Iraq War Resolution. They could see no justification in the umpteen UN resolutions etc, etc.

And now, every time a trooper goes down there is this chicken little, Vietnam syndrome freakout that basically says we were all better off before.

That's what Blix is saying and that's what Kerry WAS saying before he won the nomination.

Granted he has changed his tune is is saying we will not run.

And they all lived happily, except for Hans and Saddam and JFK, ever after.
