Related, morphine rocks. Taken my share of knocks in this world, felt back pain that dropped me to the floor like I'd been hamstrung. Been burnt, cut, hit, shocked, even kicked in the jimmies full force once. None of it comes close. Percocet, you aint no morphine...... But you'll do.

Been there, done that, hospitalized - twice. Gotta give it up for the old morphine drip. What blessed, instant relief. Nurse that was taking care of me tole me she had had a bout with them as well, and it is the only thing that compared to childbirth. I'll settle just for the old stones, thank you.

No way, not even childbirth compares. Did that twice with no drugs but one kidney stone was enough that if someone had handed me a gun I would have put myself out of my misery.

She told me that, so I have nothing to compare it to. The first six hours or so until I got tho the ER was like a dull razor slicing ever so slowly along a two inch path from the kidney. I had no idea what it was until the nurse told me. The second event I knew what it was and made a quicker run to the ER.

Experienced kidney stones once, do not want that experience ever again!

The severe pain I was told comes about when the stone moves from your kidney to your bladder, where it tries to make its way through a very, very small tube.

I passed my 4th last month

Interesting discussion. One reason why professional forums are such good places to get information, sort of a searchable expert system. You can distill good information pretty fast. I had no idea that the term "seekers" was a thing, for instance. Of that a lot of places add another drug to dialauded doses to ruin the high.
