That is atrocious! I'm a diver, and we've never had a problem with the Sting Rays. I've been with them in the Cayman Islands a few times, and they are the gentle-ist things in the world.
Yes they are nosey. They want to know who you are, and what you are doing, like a big puppy. and if you have any squid...you have a friend for life. But they only attack if they are threatened. And squeezing them between a diver and a camera man would be a threat.

I'll bet she didn't have anything to do with that, and is trying to get it stopped. she's not the type to sanction that style of game. If she even knows about it yet. If not I'm sure she will soon.
