Kitchen and deck renovation contractor

I'm looking to have some major work done in my kitchen and back deck. In short, I want to re-face and re-floor the kitchen (and replace the stove and dishwasher) and screen in and roof my deck. Any suggestions as to a reliable contractor?

Don't know which is harder, finding one that is reliable or one that is reasonably priced. Good luck in finding both.

Good Luck finding anyone willing to do the work period. You may be better off doing it yourself. We painted our cabinets instead of re facing them. Wood's Paintin' Place sells a paint specifically designed for this purpose. (Use primer even though it says you don't need to) Laying ceramic tile and laminate flooring is not hard at all either.

That's why I did it myself. Put hardwood flooring throughout the kitchen, dinning room and down the hallway. Next I'm getting rid of my elect stove and putting in a gas stove. After that the countertops are next. Already have solid oak cabinets that I'm not replacing. Someday I may make new ones, but not right away. Point is, if you're handy at all, you can do it yourself.

Thanks for the tips so far. It seems all of you are correct in respect to having the kitchen done. A contractor came to my house last night to look at what I want done. He was totally confident about roofing and screening the deck, but when it came to the kitchen, he was like and mumbled stuff like "Well, you could buy new handles and re-paint these cabinet doors, but, um, well, or, um, now the floor here, we can take care of that problem by . . . "

In short, deck: Heck yeah!! Kitchen: um . . . er . . . I guess, if you want. Answer: I'll look elsewhere to have the kitchen work done. (And yes, there's the possibility of doing the cabinets myself - I can buy doors and handles with the best of them!!)
