can someone tell me how to keep shadow off the kitchen counters/table. I have been squirting her with water and it doesn't phase her one bit she just sits there and looks at me like u don't scare me. Is there anything else I can do. I have been just picking her up and putting her on the floor but the second I put her down she jumps back up.

You just have to keep at her, Jenn. Using water and a firm no! You might send a note to Dottie or Mary and see what they recommend.

I take a large mister bottle and pour about 4 ounces of listerine in it then fill it the rest of the way with water. They hate the taste of the listerine and it won't hurt them. They soon get the message!

 You're misting listerine at the cats? WTF is wrong with you. You problaby spray that crap at your kids too. :boo:

ingredients: Methyl salicylate (oil of wintergreen) > Fragrance, antiseptic > Respiratory tract, skin and eye irritation; allergic reactions; small ingested amounts are fatal to young children; may cause reactions in aspirin-sensitive people.

Thymol > Fragrance, antiseptic > Derived from thyme oil; harmful if swallowed, may cause irritation to skin, eyes, and respiratory tract, affects central nervous system. Common fungicide.

Menthol > Fragrance, antiseptic > Irritation to skin, eyes and respiratory tract.

I have electric mats that I've used in the past. They charge up with a 9v battery and shock em pretty good.

If you want a cheaper alternative go to Walmart and buy some of those clear rubber/plastic carpet runners that you lay over high-traffic areas on carpet. Turn them upside down and they have tons of tiny little plastic spikes on the underside. Lay some of those (spike-side up) where you don't want your cat to walk. Their little paws do not like those plastic spikes.

My feet don't like those plastic spikes! You ever accidentally stepped on one that had the edge flipped over? Ouch!
