kitten head injury?

I've got a 3 month old kitten who was in one of her spastic playful modes. She came zipping into the kitchen and smacked her face on the sliding glass door.

She stood up and her head was spinning in circles like she was getting ready to just pass out. She never did and it probably took about 15-20 seconds for her to recover. It freaked me out but she seems normal now.

Should I worry? All I could think was that we had only had this sweet baby for 2 weeks and there is no way to tell my 6 year old that kitty was gone! This cat is constantly diving off of things. She makes me nervous. lol.

Just check on the kitty throughout the day. If the kitty stop eating, drinking and using the liter box then she/he has a problem. Kitty are very active like kids.

Kittens are pretty resilient, but if you're concerned you should definitely call your vet and ask about it.

My puppy got ahold of a 1/2 of a pool stick i was pitching - she was playing and it rammed into the top of her jaw when she tried to go around the living room with it in her mouth. She looked like she saw stars, like she couldn't focus, walked around in somewhat of a daze and her pupils were dilated . The "emergency vet" needed an appt, and none was available until two days later. I just kept an eye on her, and made sure she ate and drank. She's okay now - they are like kids, resilient.
