Kitten heels

I hate them like Kwillia hates Crocs. I think they look silly. It makes women look like they have these big ole feet on these little teeny teeter-tottery shoes. :dead:

Not too fond of them myself, but being taller than the hubby, I've had to resort to a pair for something dressy to wear so I don't look like a sasquatch next to him. lol :rolleyes:

Why are they called kitten heels? :confused:

I think it has something to do with when they came out in the 50's they were typically worn by younger girls/teens kind of as a training heel because they were so short. Because of that they were called kitten heels. As opposed to a grown woman or a cat
