Well actually I think she was sctratched by a neighbor cat. And now her face is swollen including lymph nodes.

Any suggestions of what I could be? Usually another cat scratch causes an abcess. She has had them before on her tail. This looks a bit different than what she has had in the past. Old scratches agound the face are nearly healed.

I guess Im going to have to to take her to the vet. Where to take her on sunday?

Actually, it's in Huntingtown. I took my dog where for an obstruction and they are very good.

one day the dark will end
Abcess....wash area well, shave off fur, wash again, get abcess to drain, keep open and clean and allow to drain and heal.
Antiboitics if needed....
Kitty will be fine.

I had to go thru that same process a while back, when my cat got a claw puncture wound on her back that abcessed and turned really nasty; but it went away.
