Knockout Roses

Ive noticed the leaves are getting little round holes in them. I dont see any creatures roaming about on them. Im sure there is some type of spray that is sold in Lowes or Home Depot in a spray bottle. Whats the best one to use.

Sounds like Rose Slugs.

Any kind of insecticide will work. I prefer Bifenthrin, but I doubt you'll find it at Lowes/HD. I get mine (Named: "Bifin") at a local feed/tack store.

I am starting to have the same problem with a couple of my roses. I use Rose RX from either homestead or wentworths. It was recomended by the guy at their plant resource booth who I trust. It is an insecticide (June bug will be here soon) as well a fungicide (which I think is the current problem --but I usually see darkened black spots on the leaves before they whither. On the general subject of yards I nearly got struck by a copperhead last week. Just a heads up. Happy gardening!
