Some of the folks at ESPN have absolutely nuked the fridge over Kobe appearing in the COD:BlackOps commercial. Watch the video, I think Skip Bayless is on the edge of tears or maybe he is just suffering from premenstrual cramping.

The NBA made an example out of Gilbert Arenas when he brought a gun to work.

Hey dumbass, I hate to break it to you but Gil brought a REAL gun to work and BRANDISHED it at his teammates. Kobe had a FAKE gun on a TV commercial.
GTFOI and direct some of that indignation towards refs making bad calls, or players getting DWIs and sexually assaulting women in the bathroom of a bar while their bodyguard keeps watch.
