The sexual assault charge against NBA star Kobe Bryant has been dismissed, the lawyer representing his accuser in a civil suit says. More soon

No bad Karma Nick.... If you had seen the pretrial or jury selection you would understand. This chick, was out for money... Hands down, psycho creep that made all women look horrible!

He was not guilty and she knew it.

I agree wholeheartedly. I didn't watch anything about it on the news after the initial story broke...I was not gonna spend any of my time worrying about that girl. From day one it was obvious she was lying...I just feel bad for his wife. The worst humiliation is having your husband's extramarital affairs put out in the open like that, and having to defend yourself for defending him.

Something tells me that Kobe's wife knew what she was in for when she married him. After all, before the scandal, he was one of NBA's brightest stars. Money, fame, entertainment, all that...you have to take the bad with ALL that good!

I don't follow basketball, so Kobe isn't my sweetheart player, but I am glad that his accuser dropped the case. It convinces me that he was being honest all along. Mixed signals? Maybe. Forcable rape? Doubtful from early on. I'm glad he stuck to his guns and didn't pull a Michael Jackson and give her money.

For that, Kobe gets Karma!!

I agree, there's no way I'd get involved with a professional athlete. But there's a huge difference between being adulterous and being a rapist. She had to love that man (or his money) to stand by him through rape charges.

I don't like b-ball either, but I knew from day one that the little hussy was lying.

Kobe's wife probably loves both! Besides, they are 20-something, lots of loot, finest of everything, who knows what goes on in their relationship. You can tolerate a lot more at 20-someting than you can at 40-something, I'm certain. And if Kobe's wife was upset/hurt? She has many more years of sticking with Kobe and living the life, rather than giving it up. Like I said, who knows what understanding those two arrived at.
