Kodak EasyShare 12.1mp Digital Camera

Pros? Cons? Anyone have one? It's ranking at the top of my list for new camera purchases today. Online reviews from other owners are pretty good (4.5+ out of 5 stars on Best Buy and Circuit City). I don't need a $1000 camera; just something that takes pretty good pics and versatile as far options ... AND an easy way to find the "Format SD Card" button.

Also, any suggestions for what to sell my Toshiba PDR4300 4.0mp camera for? It's about 5 years old but in great condition and takes great pics. I'll put it on Craigslist and our employee sales BB once I get the new camera. I'm thinking $50-75. I'd give it to DQ, except Santa brought her a new digital camera with higher mp for Christmas.

I would keep it as a back up. You never know when your new camera might decide to malfunction. I don't think you will even get 50.00 for it if its that old. They have come a long way in five years. And if you aren't camera savvy it probably is a good idea to stick with an easy share. They are fairly easy to operate. Heck, I'm still trying to figure out my Panasonic and I've had it a year! :faint:

Hey Crabcake, did you give up on your other camera?

There's nothing wrong with it. It just won't read an SD card over 512mb. Otherwise, it works as great today as the day I bought it. :yay:

I took these pics with it ... some of 'em this morning. :yay:

I see resellers selling them for $90 refurbished. Of course, that means it has been refurbished - whatever value that adds. I can't imagine what all they do to improve its lifetime. So - Ebay starting around $30 probably get you something.
