Why is it okay to spell it, but not say it, in the context of the conversation? Should I start spelling when when I say "so and so called so and so a ######"?
Her thing right now is to spell out everything.

When you're repeating what someone else said. As in, "Mommy, my teacher said s-h-i-t."
:yeahthat:

Or the time she heard me muttering to myself and she asked if I said S H I T. I asked her why she just didn't say it and she replied that she knows it is a bad word and didn't want to get into troube for saying it.

My Daughter is 22 months and has already dropped the S-bomb on me due to dad slipping up. Amazing, that you can't teach them to wipe their butts when their that age but they can drop a curse word in a heart beat!!!

I stayed up just to see that insincere washed up comedian apologize.

I couldn't help but laugh at him because he had the same look on his face as if he was playing KRAMER on the show Seinfeld. Even the audience members had to be told by Jerry to be quiet because it wasn't funny. NO ONE TOOK HIM SERIOUSLY. The fact he got offered to come on the show by Seinfeld and not Dave Letterman said alot.

Anyone who wants to offer up an apology for the wrong they did would reach out to the media, not wait for a friend to convince you to do the right thing...and of all places DAVE LETTERMAN??? I could see right through his fake apology...the dude seriously has problems with himself. He was talking like he was in 3rd person...like another part of him took over just because he was heckled. Talkin bout, "he dont know where that rage came from."

I truly beleive that all white people have that hidden rage. Get a white person angry enough by someone of another ethnicity and they are going to degrade you by using the color of your skin. Not your social status, not how you wear your hair, not by the car you drive...but what color you are. Kramer 's situation proves that. He got so angry that he couldn't joke back with those guys by lowered his standards by joking about their skin because he knew that would sting. People who use the word NI99ER know what they are doing. They know the history of the word, so all that BS about "oh black people use it, so I can too" is a cop out. Blacks never ever referred to their own as N1GGERS.

And I can't beleive that people are actually defending him saying that he had a right to go to those extremes because 2 black men heckled him. YOUR A COMEDIAN...thats what happens!! Since when did a comedian fight back without using a joke....calling those that heckled you NI99ERS is not fighting back with humor, its fighting back with ignorance.

Let me touch base on those in this thread who feel that NI99A is the same as NI99ER.....therefore it gives them the right to say it because they hear it in rap songs and in the streets....If your not black, hispanic, or mixed you wouldn't understand. The word has two meanings a positive one and a negative one. Dont ya'll sit up here and act like you dont know the difference. You know damn well when a brotha is calling another brotha "what up my ni99a" he isn't using it in the same term as Kramer did. Its a term of endearment....like I said before, if your not black you wouldn't understand.

Someone said it best that their friends call them a "hoe" and they dont get offended, but let someone they aren't familiar with come out and say it and all hell will break loose. Same thing here....I call my girls/boys "b!tch, hoe, and yes even Ni99a" at times but they know the context in which I use those words. You dont come out the side of your mouth calling someone those types of terms without knowing them because its disrespectful.

I've never called anyone a ni99er....EVER. The word has a different meaning in this day and age and the sooner people realize that and accept it, they'll start using tact when it comes to agreeing with certain people who do use it in a negative context (such as Kramer).

I've seen white comedians use the word ni99a, never ni99er....they know better. And whoever brought up Eminem when he called that ex of his a ni99er....thats the hidden rage I'm talking about.

Oh I have slipped up myself. When I do I always explained to my daughter what the word means and how it shouldn't be used. I also told her some more for two reasons. One, so she could recognize if someone else was being a potty mouth and two, so she could recognize if someone was being rude to her.

My philosophy is, I want her to hear the words from me with an adult understanding (not from her school mates) and I feel kids who constantly curse are immature or acting foolish and what makes her the smart one is having an understanding without having to say it!!!

To this day I have yet to hear a cuss word, :yay: one day I'm sure, however it will not be a part of her everyday speech in life like some kids... :buttkick:

Then you are truly a racist.

You're statement would have been perfectly valid if you had simply said "people".

You ma'am, are part of the problem.
