I agree there are lines to not cross and we all know that but once it's crossed which it was then what? You can't take it back. I don't think that there should be a lawsuit for this incident and that is what kills the argument.

If they were truly offended then an apology from him to them should be enough as likewise in them offending him. At my family's Thanksgiving gathering it came up and my mom asked me what the forum had to say about it.

There was no real discussion about it as with most blacks stuff like this incident doesn't surprise us. Not because he's white or who he is but because it's what we're use to other races feeling about us. Whether it's the N word or other stereotypical character judgements. The only difference is the thought was given a voice. :shrug:

I never said discount it, my point is, none of the ones who are biatching, lived it. I am all for reparations to people who WERE slaves. Unfortunately, I don't think they are still around (NOT a history buff). However, your every day average black man who wants to walk around in the streets all day shouting about how unfair slavery was, WTF, like he would know. I don't see why we should spend out money to people who's great great great great grandfather was a slave. To some people its all about money for nothin and what they can get for free. :shrug: This is why I stay outta these threads
