Excellent post. Yet, I find that like most theories, there are two sides to this one.
Now, lets just take from the 60s on.
yes the white folk have had a bit of a time accepting some black folk as equal. and yes, I can see where this might cause just a bit of dislike of the white folks by the black folks.
As I said, there is another side to this.
lets look at crime statistics. not that corporate crimes that relieve people of some cash, but instead, lets look at the crimes that involve someone being shot over a few dollars, or killed while their car is being "unlawfully repossesed", or maybe just random crime in general.
I can say with great certainty that whites have been the targets of black violent crime at a substantially higher rate than blacks have been the targets of whites.
So lets look at this.
on one hand, the blacks have every right to hate whites because of civil rights injustices that may or may not have been committed against them many years ago. justified.
on the other hand, whites are racists if they take extra caution when being approached by a group of blacks. even though this fear is the product of a proven statistic showing the odds of violence.
So since the 60s, have enough white people been killed to make up for the injustice of slavery? If not, how many more do we have to go before we can call it even? how many?
the education is there, and has been for long enough now that no child regardless of race has not had a chance to study and progress. How long do we have to hear about the injustice in the school system?
Anyone that treats me well and with respect, will be treated the same in return. Anyone that treats me otherwise, will be treated otherwise in return.
