Asian leaf 'kratom' making presence felt in US emergency rooms - U.S. News
Sounds like its going to be illegal soon.
I've been able to find that it's illegal in many states already. I was wondering about MD.
I question the validity of this link. First of all appears to be a site that promotes the use and sale of Kratom. Second it says at the bottom "Information is not guaranteed and is not to be considered legal advice."
Lastly, it says that it's non-habit forming. There is info out there stating to the contrary.
What I am finding is it can cause hallucinations, euphoria, delusional behavior, aggression and schizophrenia; and it's possible to over does on it.
It seem the link you provided is a site aimed at promoting the sale of and use and is down playing the dangers of it. So, I can not consider it reliable in determining whether it's legal or not.
I know this but it was all I could find. Personally I think all drug users are a waste of oxygen. I would never condone drug usage nor promote it. I was only trying to help you find the information.
If you know that its harmful, why are you interested in it?
Try calling the police department, narcotics division, and asking them directly.
They're not as heavy as I personally like and rely more on slick arpeggios more than the articulation and separation I like in what I consider really good playing but, for a New Wave of American Metal Inspired by The Old New Wave of British Heavy Metal, they're not bad.
