SHOCKING: Woman Testifies: Shut Down TPUSA Club, Send Conservative Students to Child Protective Services
Nancy Krause in Calvert County, Maryland reported students to Child Protective Services because they started a Turning Point USA Club America (TPUSA) chapter.
TPUSA high-school chapters (Club America) are student-led groups focused on entrepreneurship, limited government & traditional American values.
But, that didn’t stop Ms. Krause from labeling participation "abuse" because she views normal conservative ideas as inherently harmful. Her level of fanaticism used to be fringe -- but has become all too common with the ‘Left’.
Let’s be clear: This isn't about protecting kids — it's about silencing conservative voices.

That would be difficult to make stick. If she is indeed a mandated reporter she's held harmless if the report is determined to be unfounded.

To make it stick it would have to be proven that she knew the complaint was unfounded and she filed it for malicious reasons. I could see someone making that case here if they had the time and resources to follow it through.

Its the report itself. Does wonders for her personal and professional reputation. Even if its found to be inaccurate the initial image is still in peoples minds.

Your neighbors are inclined to vote RED as has been the norm for decades in CC....so,
You demonstrated when you cannot dominate the political realm....the last avenue of resistance is the law, and bureaucracy.
SO, you opened that door, let's see it applied to you, your household, your volunteer position, your HOA, your club memberships, ...I hope you enjoy the outcome of your tirade and your hatred toward conservatism. Now, go vote for the losing party (again).

Have the parents of these young adults that wanted to be involved in TPUSA spoken? If I were a parent, I would be proud that my child wanted to attend and be a part of this movement as opposed to hanging out with druggies and trouble makers. Alas, I am not a parent but I would be very vocal if I was!

There is a business in Calvert named "Krause Construction"; in fact they rent a space in the strip mall my last store was at. Wondering if there is a family connection? The business has a good reputation and I am not trying to start rumors but does anyone know if this Karen has any connection?? If so, I could see how this would affect John Krause's business.
Anyone?

Okay, you just made the case in my mind. I was willing to write her off as a harmless crank, but you are right that CPS is nothing to joke about. Taking someone's children from them because you don't like their politics is classic fascism and if this woman gets some jail time and/or gets fired from her job, that's okay with me.

It looks like here slot at the CCMM isn't as staff but as a volunteer.

These people have massive self-control issues and some scientist should study their brains. This woman, and others like her, will say with a straight face, "TPUSA is a fascist org and if you participate we will take your child away from you."

That probably sounded reasonable in her head, and she's likely hiding in her house still thinking everyone else is the bad guy. Look at our own kooks on here - they spout absurdity and if you try to talk them down it only enrages them. They are ALL IN and nothing will make them reconsider.

Fascinating.

Volunteers can get fired. But that's CCMM's decision, although if this is the way she behaves I have to guess that everyone she works with hates her and would be glad to see her gone. Or maybe it's a gaggle of Karenbots and they're all going, "What...? 🤷‍♀️ "
